Did you know that not all news impacts stock prices equally? While some news can significantly influence the market, others have little to no effect. A big chunk of news is about past or outdated information, like market recap, that is not market-moving and irrelevant.

One of the common requests we got is whether our AI can determine how important these news articles are. Good news! We are introducing News Classification which classifies news articles into different categories in real-time, aiding you in weighting the importance of the articles.

Below are the categories we developed for AI classification. Of course, feel free to use your judgment to decide how important they are. AI will pick the most prominent category for each article.

The news classification is now included in API responses.
